The Write to Breathe Project

Since the media focuses almost exclusively on police violence against Black men, these youth wanted to make a statement about police violence against Black women.
These young playwrights and actors wanted to make the statement that Black women's lives are certainly no less valuable than anyone else’s and to confront gun violence with their art to say: #Enough!
